The MARS project offers teachers the opportunity to take a constructivist approach to the teaching and learning of science. Students of all ages will be able to join the larger scientific community in real-time, real-life experiences linked to curriculum outcomes/ expectations. Hosted by Canada's Schoolnet and York University, the science database provides support for The Common Framework of Science Learning Outcomes, (The Council of Ministers of Education, Canada) for learning expectations and linked resources. Resources types include teacher resources, lesson plans, labs, classroom activities and demos. Teachers will be able to meet curriculum outcomes in the following strands and grade levels through participation in the MARS project.
